Operation Christmas Child
All year long we collect supplies and spare change for Operation Christmas Child. Our church secretary, Lisa, and her team work all year then to organize and plan for our packing days. From Awana packing nights where the kids take time to pack and learn about those less fortunate than them, to church wide packing day. We break the church record ever year in the number of boxes we send out. For 2022 we packed and shipped out 648 boxes. That is 648 lives changed for the Kingdom of God.
Carmi Baptist Childrens Home
The Carmi Baptist Childers Home is another mission we help support. Each Mothers day we take up an offering to help fund the work that the home does. In 2023 we hosted the first Annual 4 person Golf Scramble. Held at Kokopelli Golf Course in Marion Illinois, we had 28 golfers play in 7 teams to raise over $0.00 money for the home.
