We welcome you to our church family. At Herrin Second Baptist we are just that, Family! Our current average attendance is about 75 members on a Sunday morning, and 15 on Wednesday nights. This means in a way we are like the show “Cheer’s” were everyone knows your name.
Our services are more traditional in style with a true come as you are atmosphere. We are always looking for ways to expand and grow and would love to hear your ideas and thoughts. If fact that is why we say “every member is a minister.” You really are a minister, to your friends, family, co-workers, and in the church. From helping with our Christmas program to greeting people as they come in, teaching in a classroom or helping on with maintaining our facilities. There is always room for you to lend and hand and grow with our church.
Sunday Service times:
Choir Practice 8:30 AM
Sunday School starts at 9:20 Am
Worship is at 10:30 am
Awana (3 years to 6th grade) 5-7 PM
Child care is available for all services.
Wednesday Activities:
Adult bible study 6:00 PM
Kid’s Bible study 6:00 PM (all ages)
Don’t work about “what to wear.” Jesus does not have a clothesline, He only cares about you being here and worshiping His name. You will find everything from shirt and tie to jeans and tee-shirt at our services.

- Parking is in both the front and the back of the building. (handicap parking in both lots)
- Child care is available for all services.
- Worship style is a mix of traditional hymns and some new.
- Tithes and offerings are accepted in our offering boxes by Sanctuary doors or only through our Giving page.
