Pastor Josh is a 2007 graduate of Mid-Continent University in Mayfield Kentucky. he started his ministry as a youth pastor at FBC Hickman Kentucky. He also served as pastor at Desoto First Baptist until July 2020 where he accepted the call to be pastor at Herrin Second Baptist. Josh is married to his wife Samantha for 10 years and they have three kids Dawson, Bristol, and Jaelynn.
HIs favorite verse is 1st Corinthians 10:31″ Whatever you eat or drink, do all to the glory of God (ESV).” this verse helps keep me focus upon Christ during whatever stage of ministry I am in.
Kevin Lawrence

Kevin leads us in worship through music on Sundays. He organizes, and with the help of the choir, delivers a Christmas and Easter cantata every year that often includes drama. You will find him practicing with the praise band and sometimes jumping behind the drum set. Kevin serves with his wife Cindy helping with our Just Older Youth and also serves as a deacon within our church…
Lisa Sissom
Secretary
Secretary is not quite the right word to describe what Lisa does within our church. Besides her normal secretarial duties, Lisa helps with cleaning the church, has a ministry coordinating our Operation Christmas Child efforts, plays in the praise band, and volunteers to help with children’s activities including chaperoning Centri-Kid and leading in VBS.
